PNW Guys Needed - Important Survey

Your survey participation could help us help thousands ThinkstockPhotos-610785386

At Higher Ground, we desire to equip Pacific Northwest men to stand firm against the challenges that threaten to erode what it means to be a man of God. One of those challenges is the struggle with pornography or other forms of unwanted sexual behavior.  It’s common these days to see statistics underscoring the prevalence of pornography and sexual addictions in our world. But what’s often missing in these statistics is the ‘why’

We are partnering with a local therapist who is conducting research to better understand the ‘whys’ behind certain sexual behaviors in order to help more men in recovery.  To do this, we are promoting his ANONYMOUS SURVEY to help obtain this information. The intent of the survey is to identify patterns and insights that can bring lasting freedom to men in the Pacific Northwest who desire to live with purity and authenticity.

To reach as many men as possible across the Pacific Northwest, we are making this survey available on our Prodigals and Higher Ground websites, promoting it through our Twitter account, and we are also asking our greater Higher Ground network via this email for their participation.

If you have never struggled with pornography or other unwanted sexual behaviors, this survey is NOT for you. You can delete this email now and we won’t waste any more of your time.

If you elect to participate in the survey, here’s some important things to know:

  • The survey will take approximately 10 minutes. You can stop and come back if you need to take a break.
  • This survey is going to ask some pretty specific questions, so be ready for that.
  • The survey is completely anonymous.
  • The survey will close (PLEASE COMPLETE BY) midnight November 15, 2016.

A summary of any key findings will be presented at a breakout session at Higher Ground 2017. No personal information or feedback specific to men who have previously attended Higher Ground will be identified or shared. The main purpose of these survey results will be added to information collected from men across the US and Canada.  They will be used and/or published by Seattle therapist Jay Stringer .
