Prodigals Counseling provides individual and group counseling for men, and counseling for married couples to help men and families recover from the impact of sexual brokenness and sexually compulsive behaviors.  Steve is currently not taking new clients. Individual, couple and men’s group counseling available for Washington State residents only.

Our areas of expertise include:

  • Helping men overcome pornography use, cybersex, compulsive masturbation, co-dependency, and/or love addiction and the barriers to intimacy created by the shame and broken trust that accompany these behaviors.

  • Helping men address issues including depression, anxiety, personal and professional boundaries, and/or lack of motivation

  • Helping parents help their teenagers with pornography addiction, sexting, or sharing inappropriate information or conversations in online chat rooms.

Steve Dulaney

MA, LMHC, CSAT, AF-EMDR.

Steve Dulaney has been helping men get un-stuck from patterns of destructive behavior, moving from frustration, isolating pain and shame, toward a life of renewal and satisfying relationships for more than 10 years. His expertise includes providing both individual and group counseling for men who struggle with anxiety, trauma-related behavior, adoption issues, event-driven grief, and sex and pornography addiction.

Steve is a Christian counselor, Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC LIC# LH60284078), CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist), and a trauma therapist, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (AF-EMDR). Steve completed his Masters in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2009 and is a member of The International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). He holds a B.A. in Business from the University of Washington and spent 17 years in high-technology marketing. Steve is the Executive Director of Prodigals International, a faith-based recovery program for men and women impacted by sexual addiction. Steve has been married for 30 years and has 2 children.
